This one requires 20 minutes, a pen, and more honesty than most of us are comfortable with.
Here's what you're going to do:
Step 1 — Name your person. Think of one specific person in your life who needs to hear your testimony. Not a general "the next generation." One person. A name. Write it at the top of the page.
Step 2 — Write the letter. Write them a letter they will never send. Not yet — maybe never. Just write it.
Tell them what God has done in your life. Not the polished version. The real one. The shadow He called you out of. The furnace He was in with you. The thing you know from the inside — from the roads you've actually been on — that they need to hear before the window closes.
Don't edit. Don't perform. Just tell them what you know.
Step 3 — Read it out loud. To yourself. Alone. Just you and the letter.
Notice what happens when you hear your own testimony spoken out loud.
Step 4 — Ask the question. Look at the letter. Look at the name at the top.
When will you actually say this to them?
Not send the letter. Have the conversation. Make the call. Show up and say the thing.
When?
Step 5 — Set a date. Write it at the bottom of the letter. A specific date. Not "soon." A date.
